Suri Shirt

The Suri Shirt is an oversized, boat neck, drop shoulder style short sleeve shirt. A timeless classic design that every wardrobe needs. It is constructed from the top down and it is worked flat and in the round in stockinette stitch. Suri shirt features slits on each side of the waist and classic 2 x 2 rib around all edges. Two length options are included in the pattern, standard and slightly cropped. Choose your size based on how much ease you prefer. Read the pattern all the way through before you begin. Sizes Bust circumference including ease XS 98, S 108, M 115, L 120, XL 130, 2XL 135, 3XL 145, 4XL 150, 5XL 160 cm, approximately XS 38½”, S 42½”, M 45¼”, L 47¼”, XL 51¼”, 2XL 53¼”, 3XL 57”, 4XL 59“, 5XL 63”. Featured in dark blue gray mix color (standard length) size M on a 93 cm / 36½” bust, and khaki (cropped length) in size S on a 93 cm / 36½” bust. Gauge 26 stitches by 34 rows = 4” x 4” (10 x 10 cm) using size US 2.5 / 3.00 mm needles in stockinette stitch, after washing and blocking. 24 - 26 stitches for 2x2 ribbing using US 1.5 / 2.50 mm after washing and blocking. Note: *be sure to note your gauge swatch before and after blocking, tussah tweed silk grows a bit after washing. Suggested Yarn Approximately 150, (175), 200, (200), 225, (250), 250, (275), 300 grams of BC Garn “Tussah Tweed”, 50 grams = 250 meters / 275 yards, featured in color 045 (dark blue gray mix) and 031 (khaki).
