Beret No. 3 is a classic, felted beret. Work from the bottom up, using circular needles. As the work progresses, change to double pointed needles or use the magic loop method. SIZES XS/S, 54 cm [21.25 inches] (S/M, 56 cm [ 22 inches]) M-L, 58 cm [23 inches] SUGGESTED NEEDLES 6 mm [US 10] circular needles (40, 60 or 80 cm [16, 24 or 32 inches]) Optionally; 6 mm [US 10] double pointed needles GAUGE In stocking stitch using 6 mm [US 10] needles. 13 sts / 20 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches].
