Knitting Pattern for an elegant bow tie or hair bow. One Size. **Structure:** The bow tie/hair bow is knitted on DPNs in rounds until you reach the required height. After casting off, the cast-on-row and the cast-off-row are closed using the mattress stitch. Two ties – a short one and a longer one – are now worked in double knitting. The short one is wrapped around the bow to shape it. The longer one is sewn to the back of the bow. It can be used to tie the bow around your hair or you can add snap fastener to close the bow tie in the neck. **Level of difficulty:** advanced beginners **Materials:** - 25 g Verona by Lamana (180 m/25 g) - 3 mm DPNs - Darning needle - Stitch markers/ left overs - Bow Tie: snap fastener - Hair Bow: optional a hair clip **Knitting Tension:** - 10x10 cm = 28 sts x 42 rs on 3 mm knitting needles (wet blocked) **Measurements:** Width finished Bow: 11 cm Height finished Bow: 7 cm
