Textured shawl featuring a very fun and meditative stitch sequence. The Barbara shawl is worked flat in broken garter stitch by repeating a simple sequence of knits and purls which makes it suitable for beginner knitters. The result is a textured and dimensional piece. This triangular-shaped shawl is started at the tip, and increases are worked on one side until half of the total length is achieved. Then, a set of decreases is worked on one side to shape the triangle and create the other tip. The design comes in two sizes: scarf and shawl. To swatch for gauge: cast on a multiple of 6 sts. The gauge given is a guideline only.
