Mosaic Feathers Inspired by nature’s beautiful feathers, this mandala style circular project is perfect for variegated yarn! Worked using the mosaic crochet overlay technique and variegated 4 ply/fingering yarn, the colourful 8 repeat project is ideal for crafters familiar with the mosaic crochet technique and creates a beautiful feather themed finished project. The pattern is written based on a repeat of 8, once you pick up the first repeat, 7 more repeats will complete the circular shape. Try different colourways to create a unique and stunning finished piece! Can be used as a small blanket or home décor item to bring a pop of colour and interest to any space. The pattern is suitable for crocheters who have worked the mosaic colour technique previously and confident crocheters or above. But if you love crochet, I’d encourage you to have a go at learning something new anyway! WHAT YOU NEED: You will need a main colour, contrast colour and your crochet hook! I used 1 cake of Hobbii Sultan Deluxe - Imperial Purple (08) for the main colour and 2 balls of Hobbii Twister Solid - Cream (121) as the contrast colour. But you can use any combination of 4ply yarn. You will need a 3.5mm ( E ) crochet hook. I hope you enjoy this pattern as much as I enjoyed creating it!
