**Kiku Dragon Shawl** Kiku 菊 is Japanese for Chrysanthemum. Scale-like dimensional texture, with equally interesting reverse. These scale (or petal!) segments are not only dimensional but overlap a bit and flex like armor plates. **See my [Dragons Bundle][1] for more designs with this stitching.** Kiku features curved arcs of scales of descending size. Worked flat on long circular needles, lower edge up to center top. Advanced Lace Skills: Standard lace stitches, plus special stitches (ICDD and directional yo closures).
