Peapod Marble Fidget Toy

**PEAPOD MARBLE FIDGET TOY** is a knitted tube of varied width with an enclosed glass marble. Simple icord trim creates a loop to attach the piece to a backpack clip or to place around a finger and hold the toy. The use of a glass marble within soft yarn creates a silent toy that is sure to please students and teachers alike. Experiment with different colors and yarns to reflect the recipient’s style. I created this design with my son in mind when he was an elementary school student. He and his friends adorned their backpacks with charms and fidgets, and I was excited to come up with a functional knit design that could be shared and loved. Much to my surprise and delight, this pattern became an instant hit among some of MY friends, too. Through the years, I’ve made these as gifts for kids and adults, choosing favorite colors or remnants from other projects.
