Marble Fidget Bracelet

I am always in search of creative fidget toys for my son, and love incorporating my craft into these projects. I stumbled upon a post on social media showing a small knit bracelet tube with a marble, and have since been making them for my son and other family and friends. A few knitters requested I write directions for how I make the bracelets, so here they are! These simple bracelets are suitable for children and adults. Directions are included for both fingering and DK weight yarns. Enjoy! Test knitting: Norah B., Stacie B., Wendy N-H., Amanda U. **YARN** Each bracelet uses approximately 4-6 g of fingering or DK weight yarn. This is a great project to use up yarn scraps leftover from another project. **FINGERING WEIGHT GAUGE** 8 stitches = 1” (2.5 cm) in stockinette in the round **DK WEIGHT GAUGE** 7 stitches = 1” (2.5 cm) in stockinette in the round **SIZE** Customizable- samples shown are approximately 1” (2.5 cm) measured across, and 1” (2.5 cm) longer than wrist. **TOOLS** Fingering weight: US 1 (2.25 mm) circular needle, 32” (80 cm) or longer for magic loop, or double-pointed needles or size needed to get gauge DK weight: US 3 (3.25 mm) circular needle, 32” (80 cm) or longer for magic loop, or double-pointed needles or size needed to get gauge Crochet hook of similar size for provisional cast-on Spare needle in same size or smaller Scissors Smooth waste yarn Tapestry needle 1 standard glass marble for each bracelet, 1/2” (13 mm) diameter. Some testers used decorative glass craft beads or flat-bottomed glass drops in lieu of standard marbles.
