Farahan Shawl

The Farahan Mosaic Crochet Shawl is a stunning triangle shawl/ wrap worked in overlay Mosaic Crochet Technique. This pattern is fully written, there are no charts, diagrams or pictures included with the written instructions. There is a separate PDF that contains a picture of each of my samples with detailed yarn information. This shawl can be made with any size yarn & fiber that you chose. This shawl is oversized and fits up to plus size 6X when worked in size 4 worsted weight yarn. SIZE 1 Lace weight yarn Finished Shawl Measurements are: 57" wide at top edge X 26.5" long at center point using a 2.75mm hook YARDS: 1400 total yards including overages (700 yards PER COLOR) I used 2 skeins/balls of color A and 3 skeins/balls of color B, 50% of last ball was left over for each color. GAUGE: 19 Stitches X 15 rows = 4" Size 1 yarn is perfect for wearing as a scarf, see my introduction video on youtube for more info and to see it modeled. SIZE 3 DK/Lightweight yarn Finished Shawl Measurements are: 68" wide at top edge X 36" long at center point using a 4mm hook YARDS: 1800 total yards including overages (900 yards PER COLOR) I used 3 skeins of color A and 3 skeins of color B. IF USING LION BRAND MANDALA you will need 2 cakes of each color and you will have 30% of 2nd cake left over GAUGE: 15 Stitches X 16 rows = 4" SIZE 4 Worsted weight/Aran yarn Finished Shawl Measurements are: 84" wide at top edge X 42" long at center point using a 5mm hook YARDS: 2400 total yards including overages (1200 yards PER COLOR), I used 3 skeins for color A and 3 skeins of color B, you will have 20 yards or less left over GAUGE: 13 Stitches X 9 rows = 4"
