Cloud Iridescence

The Cloud Iridescence Blanket is named for a meteorological phenomenon: when sunlight hits a cloud just right, it can diffract a rainbow in the cloud. This blanket creates a similar effect with the softness of brushed alpaca lace and the colors of hand-dyed fingering weight yarn. Use #cloudiridescenceblanket on Instagram to show off your progress and FOs! Cloud Iridescence makes a 57" x 52" throw, and includes notes for customizing size. Gauge is not critical, but our blanket is 5 1/4 granny clusters/4" and 8 rows/4" in pattern. **Yarn:** - MC: 250g of brushed alpaca lace (or other brushed lace). Sample used Firebird Yarns Alpaca Cloud (328yd (298m) / 1.75oz (50g)) - CC: 330g fingering/sock yarn.
