About the mittens: The Saga mittens are knitted in the round with cables on the cuff that continue up on the hand and the thumb. Both mittens are knitted the same way and then wet blocked so that you have one right and one left mitten. Yarn: Worsted, 180 - 200m / 100g. Yarn suggested: Kampes 3-tr, Järbo Svensk ull, Ullcentrum 3-tr, or other wool yarn of the same weight. You will need about 80 g of yarn. Gauge & size 20 st = 10 cm in stockinette st with 3 mm needles, or the needles you need to get the right gauge. Needles: 100 cm circular needles to knit in the round with magic loop or dpn depending on what you prefer. Sizes: circumference 20,5 cm. You can make the mitten a bit bigger by choosing a larger needle. Length from thumb gusset to the top 11 or 13 cm. Svenska: Om vanten: Vanten Saga stickas runt på rundstickor med magic loop eller på strumpstickor. Vanten har flätor som börjar på mudden och sedan fortsätter upp längs handen och tummen. Båda vantarna stickas lika och blockas till en höger- och en vänstervante. Garn: Worsted, 180 - 200m / 100g. Garnförslag: Kampes 3-tr, Järbo Svensk ull, Ullcentrum 3-tr, eller annat ullgarn med liknande sträckning. Garnåtgång: ca 80 g. Masktäkthet & storlek: 20 m = 10 cm slätstickning på stickor 3, eller de stickor du behöver för att få rätt masktäthet. Stickor: 100 cm lång rundsticka 3mm, eller strumpstickor beroende på vad du föredrar. Storlek: omkrets 20,5 cm. För en något större vante, välj ett halvt nummer större stickor. Längd från tumvecket till toppen: 11 eller 13 cm.
