Acorn Hat

This Acorn Hat makes a really cute accessory to wear during the fall and winter months! It closely resembles an acorn cap in both looks and texture, so you can joke and say you borrowed an acorn's cap for the season :) Plus it's extremely versatile and goes with almost any outfit! Wear it on a walk, out on the town, Thanksgiving gatherings, picnics, etc. I personally like wearing it on my trail walks because it matches the aesthetic of the fall leaves and makes me feel like I'm in a Beatrix Potter illustration. This cozy hat works up really quick, taking only around 2-3 hours to complete. I would recommend this pattern for beginner/intermediate and above crocheters. *This pattern is for one size and fits an average teen/adult head.* Sizes can be determined by how many rows will be crocheted for the top of the hat, which is based on your head circumference. - Teen / Adult: 22” <= head circumference <= 24” - Gauge (6.5mm hook): 10 double crochets x 2 rows = 4” x 1.5” You will need one color: - K+C Craft Alpaca Solids Yarn in Rust - Weight Category: 6, super bulky - Exactly 1 skein (130 yards) I recommend using a 6.5mm crochet hook.
