*Choose a main color and contrast color to knit this cabled DK weight shawl. The triangular shape begins at the small point and increases sideways toward the wide border. Slip stitches form the crisp cables and stripes and you only have to work with one color at a time. The spiraling cables flow into a diamond trellis pattern and a picot hem finishes the edge of the shawl. Choose a solid main color like West Wool Tandem combined with a self-striping yarn like Spincycle Yarns Dream State or Schoppel Wolle Stärke 6.
