Solstice

**Solstice** is a pattern consisting of 4 different designs that can be combined in any way you'd like. Make your Solstice wider by adding more repeats or longer by repeating the charts more often it's totally up to you. The technique used is overlay mosaic, so one color per row and the yarn is cut after every row. The whole pattern is charted, an instruction on how to read a chart is included as well as a description of the overlay mosaic technique. Stylecraft Special DK was used for this design but any other weight yarn would do, especially since the width and lenght of the Solstice are completely adjustable. Also included are extra charts (without the -x's) that you can print and cut out so you can play a bit with the lay out. **Solstice** oftewel zonnewende is een patroon bestaande uit 4 ontwerpen die op welke manier dan ook gecombineerd kunnen worden; maak je deken breder door meer herhalingen toe te voegen of langer door de grafieken in totaal vaker te herhalen. De techniek die gebruikt wordt is 'overlay' mozaiek, dus 1 kleur per toer en het garen wordt na elke toer doorgeknipt. Het patroon bestaat uit grafieken, een instructie over hoe grafieken te lezen is toegevoegd alsook een beschrijving van de mozaiek techniek. Stylecraft Special DK is gebruikt maar elk ander soort garen kan gebruikt worden, zeker omdat het patroon zo makkelijk aan te passen is in lengte en breedte. Bij dit patroon zijn ook grafieken (zonder de kenmerkende kruisjes) toegevoegd die geprint en uitgeknipt kunnen worden waardoor je vooraf al kunt spelen met de indeling.
