Strawberry Fields Mosaic

Strawberry Fields is a lovely summer project that incorporates strawberries, blossoms, and flowers. It is created using the overlay mosaic technique. The PDF includes six easy-to-read charts for each pattern, with corresponding written instructions. Two PDFs are available - one using US terms and one using UK terms. *************************************** You can use any yarn and corresponding hook you like for this pattern. Remember that a tighter tension is better for mosaic crochet. If using just two colours of Yarnsmiths Create DK, you will need approximately: * Colour A (Pattern colour) - 5 skeins * Colour B (Background colour) - 4 skeins * 3-row Double Border in the colour of your choice - 2 skeins * Optional Bobble (Berry Stitches) 1 skein The blanket size will be approximately 103cm wide by 137cm long with a 3-row double border (main blanket is 183 stitches x 242 rows) *************************************** For my example, I used 16 colours of Yarnsmiths Create DK.
