The Flutterby cardigan

**The Flutterby** is a baby / toddler / young child’s cardigan that's knitted top down. At the underarms stitches are placed on holders for the sleeves, then the body is continued in one piece. The sleeves are then worked top down too and are seamless. The back is raised with a series of short rows for a better fit. The yoke is made with rows of little ‘flutters’ which are mirrored at the sleeve cuffs. The pattern is written for two colours but you can let your imagination fly and make the Flutterby as colourful as you’d like!
