Favorite Cable Hoodie

After I released my Favorite Cable hat and cowl patterns I had so many requests for a sweater with same pattern. Here it is! Modified but recognizable. Favorite Cable Hoodie is seamed. Both pieces, back and front, are worked separately and then seamed. Sleeves are worked in rounds and are seamless. On the hood there is decreasing to make it less pointed. Skill level - intermediate Sizes: Approx. age 6-12m 1-2y 3-4y 5-6y 7-8y 9-10y Chest 55cm/21 ¾ in 60cm/23 ¾ in 63cm/24 ¾ in 68cm/26 ¾ in 75cm/29 ½ in 80cm/31 ½ in Recommended positive ease approx. 4-8cm Materials: • approx. 703 (763, 824, 904, 1005, 1105) m or 770 (836, 902, 990, 1100, 1210) yards of any worsted weight yarn, but not heavy worsted weight yarn Suggested yarn: Cascade 220 Heathers, 100g - 201m/220y, 100% Wool • crochet hook 4.5mm or size needed to obtain gauge • safety pin Gauge: Please check the gauge before you start! 18sts and 8rows in dc to measure 10x10cm or 4x4in using 4.5mm hook, or size required to obtain the gauge Stitches and abbreviations: st(s) – stitch(es) ch – chain stitch sc – single crochet hdc – half double crochet dc – double crochet sp - space sl st – slip stitch WS – wrong side RS – right side ALL MY PATTERNS ARE WRITTEN IN STANDARD AMERICAN TERMS!
