Rows of Flowers Sweater

The Rows of Flowers Sweater is a cozy and stylish piece of clothing made with the interlocking crochet technique. The pattern comes with both a long-sleeved and a short-sleeved option.  - The long sleeves are beautifully wide at the wrist – they are flowy and playful, and the design goes really well with a pair of wide-leg trousers. It’s perfect for autumn and winter.  - The short sleeves are shaped to fit nicely over the shoulder.  This version is great for spring and summer. 
 SIZE AND DIMENSIONS The pattern includes dimensions for a medium-sized version, but the size can be adjusted in several ways: - The final size always depends on a combination of yarn, hook and your crochet gauge, and the pattern includes a swatch pattern (12x12 interlocking crochet windows) that gives you the opportunity to test and decide which yarn and hook to use to get a bigger or smaller size. - The sweater is crocheted from the top down and has a raglan shape. This makes it possible to try on the sweater and make a few adjustments along the way, so it will fit you just right.  Testers have made both large and X-large versions using the pattern.
 TECHNIQUE The sweater is made with the interlocking crochet technique. This technique involves two crochet layers in different colors that are interlinked, creating the relief patterns. Skill level: Advanced! Some basic crochet experience is needed for the interlocking crochet technique. See also ‘Help and support’ below. YARN and HOOK Yarn weight: Fingering For the version with long sleeves, medium size: - A blend of wool (55%) and cotton (45%) - 225m/50g - Yarn consumption: approximately 550g - Hook size: 3 mm For the version with short sleeves, medium size: - A blend of wool (75%) and polyamide (25%) - 205m/50g - Yarn consumption: approximately 450g - Hook size: 2 mm Please note that yarn consumption depends on yarn, crochet hook, gauge and size (if you increase the sweater along the way).
