Stag Beetle Cowl

The Stag Beetle Cowl features fun, colorwork beetle motifs in the center surrounded by an ornate border. This pattern is perfect for showcasing a skein of variegated sock yarn that you love but aren’t sure what to do with. Size: The finished cowl measures 24” (61 cm) in circumference and 11” (28 cm) in height. **Worsted-weight version** Yarn: -200 meters (220 yards) of Color A (stag beetle and border color) -200 meters (220 yards) of Color B (background color) Recommended needle: 3.75 mm (US Size 5) 20-24” circular needles Gauge: 22 sts and 24 rows over 4” (10 cm) in colorwork stockinette, after blocking.
