Golf Club Covers

These golf club covers are a vintage style, old school design and use 2 colours which can match your golf club bag, sporting team or your favourite colours. A pattern for hand knit golf club covers using 10 ply (worsted or Aran) weight yarn on size 4 mm (US size 6) needles and the numbers are embroidered on using duplicate stitch or you can knit them in using the intarsia method, however I find it easier and neater using duplicate stitch. They are completed with pompoms. The pattern uses Australian/English knitting terms but I have added US equivalent terms where possible. The covers are knitted flat as I prefer to knit them flat as that makes it easier to work the duplicate stitch, however they can easily be knit in the round. The pattern includes a graph of numbers for the duplicate stitch and a step by step pictorial instructions explaining how to work the duplicate stitch.
