Seaspray Beanie

SEASPRAY: "The water thrown into the air when waves break on the shore." Being near water, whether the Pacific Ocean from the California coast, or the lakes of Minnesota, has always brought me peace. This pattern is a lightweight version of my Spindrift Beanie and Cowl patterns that were written for bulky and super bulky weight yarns. This worsted weight version makes for a lighter weight hat, yet still super cozy due to the folded brim. Knit cables are such a classic style, but this hat is even simpler to knit with faux cables created with right twist stitches. The faux cable stitch has always reminded me of waves and water, hence the name. This pattern is knit in the round, from the bottom up. The brim folds up to add an extra layer of coziness.
