A light and lofty cowl is perfect to wear as a springtime accessory or tuck it under a jacket for a touch of color. The Clear Skies Cowl combines into an easy and relaxing eyelet lace stitch. **Get a kit to make this project!** [See Clear Skies Cowl Yarn Kits >][1] **Finished measurements:** 22” circumference after blocking 16” high after blocking **Yarn:** Ewe Ewe Yarns, [Fluffy Fingering][2], 200 yards per 50g skein, 100% merino wool yarn, #2 fingering weight – 2 skeins or approximately 332 yards / 300 meters of 75 Sky Blue **Needles:** US 6 (4 mm) 20” (50 cm) circular needles **Supplies:** 1 stitch marker, tapestry needle, blocking pins or wires **Gauge:** -- Before blocking: 24 sts to 4” (10 cm) in stockinette stitch worked in the round. -- After blocking: 22 sts to 4” (10 cm) in stockinette stitch worked in the round. **Extra notes:** The circumference of the cowl can easily be adjusted to be larger or smaller by adding or subtracting in multiples of 24 stitches. For example, to make a cowl approximately 4” larger around cast on 144 stitches. Similarly, to make a smaller cowl cast on 96 stitches.
