La Jolla Shores Cowl

The La Jolla Shores cowl combines two of my favorite techniques: cabling and stranded knitting! I love how two-colored cables pop. To me, they provide a fantastic work-to-glory ratio: they look a lot more intricate than they actually are to knit. If you can cable, and you can strand, you've got it! This cowl is named after a beach just north of La Jolla Cove, where leopard sharks go to pup in the late summer. They are very gentle, beautiful sharks. If you're quiet and respectful, snorkling at this beach and watching the leopard sharks is a joy!
