Waffle Cardigan

Our Waffle Cardigan, the sister pattern of our Waffle Sweater, is knit in pure silk mohair, soft and light, and features an easy-to-make allover eyelet ribbing design that is neatly finished at the hems with ribbed neckline and edges.  The all-around relaxed ease at the body and sleeves enhances the cardigan’s airy texture. The Waffle cardigan is worked from the top down with 3 strands of our Soft Silk Mohair held together. You begin with the seamless double neckband, then work some short-row shaping to raise the back neckline.  The buttonbands are worked at the same time as the fronts, and the raglan construction adds an element of design to the lace pattern. The length of the body and sleeves can be easily adjusted.  Waffle Cardigan stitch patterns are charted only. The Waffle Cardigan is designed with a positive ease, meaning that the circumference of the cardigan is supposed to be bigger than the circumference of your body. When choosing which size to knit you can choose to use “circumference of body” as a reference.
