Fika Poncho

Using the same stitch pattern as my Fika Cowl, the Fika Poncho is easy and quick to crochet with an easy-to-memorize one-row repeat. I crocheted my poncho in a sport weight yarn that gives the poncho a beautiful drape. The stitch pattern starts with what I call a “starting sequence” that is much quicker and easier than crocheting a long starting chain. And, it adds a nice scalloped edge to the starting edge rather than a straight edge, so that the starting edge will match the final scalloped edge. I used the lovely 100% organic wool, Aegean Tweed by Cascade Yarns®. You will need two and a half to three skeins, depending on the size made.
