Coffee Bean Cardigan

In 2009 I released [Little Coffee Bean][1] cardigan, one of my very first designs. And 10 years later, I'm so happy to release this adult version of the design! Why should only babies have all of the striped cardigan fun? Coffee Bean is a simple top-down, seamless cardigan and would make a great first sweater for beginner knitters (or just a fun, relaxing knit for those more experienced). It uses worsted-weight yarn (I used Berroco's Ultra Wool) and features an easy 2 row striping pattern. I also created a tips page that includes some helpful photo tutorials (links in pattern). The hardest part will be deciding on which 2 colors you want to pair together! **PATTERN INFORMATION:** **Sizes:** 1 (2, 3, 4, 5) (6, 7, 8, 9, 10) **Finished Circumference:** 34 (37.5, 41, 43.75, 47.25) (51.75, 54.25, 58, 61.5, 64.25)”/86 (95, 104, 111, 120) (131, 138, 147, 156, 163) **Picking Your Size:** Choose a size that is approx 1-4”/3-10 cm larger than your actual bust measurement. Shown in Size 2, being worn with approx 4”/10 cm of positive ease at the bust. **Gauge**: 18 sts & 26 rows = 4”/10 cm in Stockinette stitch **Yarn:** Worsted-weight yarn, shown in Ultra Wool by Berroco (100% Superwash Wool; 100g = 219 yds), broken out as follows: • ***Main Color (MC):*** 525 (575, 650, 700, 750) (825, 900, 975, 1025, 1100) yds), 3 (3, 3, 4, 4) (4, 5, 5, 5, 5) skeins, shown in Frost. • ***Contrasting Color (CC):*** 375 (425, 475, 500, 550) (600, 650, 700, 750, 800) yds, 2 (2, 3, 3, 3) (3, 3, 4, 4, 4) skeins, shown in Fox. **Needles & Other Supplies:** • For Body: US 8/5 mm 32”/80 cm circ, or size needed to obtain gauge. • For Sleeves: US 8/5 mm DPNs (or you can use 32” circ if magic looping), or size used to obtain gauge. • For Neck, Hem & Buttonband Ribbing: US 7/4.5 mm 32”/80 cm circ, or 1 needle size smaller than that used to obtain gauge. • For Sleeve Cuffs: US 7/4.5 mm DPNs (or you can use 32” circ if magic looping), or 1 needle size smaller than that used to obtain gauge. • Stitch markers (including removable markers). • Tapestry needle. • Scrap yarn. • 6 buttons, approx 3/4” [1]: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/little-coffee-bean-cardigan
