Cornish Comfort

There is nothing as cosy and comfortable as a beautiful handmade blanket. As I moved to Cornwall, my spiritual home, last year I have felt more comfortable as each week has passed. I am inspired by the beautiful landscape, both the woodlands and the coastal areas, there is a ruggedness to the moors around Bodmin and the north coast that really makes me feel at one with nature and I tried to reflect that in this design. Cornish Comfort is full of rich texture with a wonderful mixture of both simple and more complex stitches. Yarn Recommendations Stylecraft Special Dk 4mm hook. Total yarn used: 3850m/4200yds approx. Finished size: 150 cm/59 inches.
