Aidan's Radiating Diamonds Blanket

A beautiful filet blanket that is quick and easy to make. Perfect for gifting for any age (from new baby to nanna). **Note: This pattern is available for free on my blog. Select 'visit pattern website' (above right) on desktop or the URL for my blog site (below) on mobile.** This blanket can be made with yarn of any fibre and ply. The mint blanket has been made with DK/8ply acrylic of approx 2000m. This is a large size throw rug and has 51 rounds made in total. It can be made with less rounds. The multi-coloured gradient blanket has been made with 4ply acrylic/cotton blend of 1400m. This is a perfect size for a baby blanket. There are three files available for download. Two are written pattern files. One has a stitch count after every stitch sequence. Beginners may prefer this document. Please decide which instructions you prefer to use before printing. There is also a document with simplified charts that is designed to be used in conjunction with the written pattern (rather than standalone). A free matching beanie pattern is also available. This blanket is dedicated to my youngest, beautiful boy, who radiates joy and compassion to all of those around him. He really is a diamond.
