Evenstar Gloves

A chart is now available for the cable pattern, thanks to the very wonderful [geneticsgirl][1] - *as of 15/05/11 both the English & Italian downloads include the chart* This pattern is now available in Italian, very many thanks to [Ekeloa][3] for the translation. This beautiful silvery-blue yarn made me think of starlight and of the Evenstar of her people so I made these long, fingerless, cabled gloves inspired by Arwen as I imagine her from the *Lord of the Rings* books. Gloves are sized to fit my more ‘traditionally built’ arms (my wrist is 21 cm around). For smaller or larger gloves go up or down 1 or 2 needles sizes. Length to wrist is approx 12 cm. The thumb is made using Elizabeth Zimmerman’s ‘thumb trick’.
