Choose Your House Socks

This pattern was initially exclusive to pre-order purchases of The Swish and Flick Collective. NOW AVAILABLE FOR INDIVIDUAL DOWNLOAD. However, I made the decision to include it as a permanent part of the collective after it became apparent that knitters were having trouble locating the pattern within their library, once the pre order period had ended. So, this design now forms part of the collective and will be available for individual download once the final pattern in the collective has been released. *The moment had finally arrived. Since Clementine had accepted her invitation to attend wizard school, she had been waiting to receive the instructions to make her 'House Socks'. Casting on the squishy DK weight socks was the moment it finally dawned on her that soon, term would be starting.* *'I remember when I knit my Choose Your House Socks', her mum told her as she started knitting her ribbing. 'Those dormitory floors are like walking on freshly fallen snow Clem, so if I were you, I would knit yourself a couple of pairs'. 'Just great', thought Clementine. But as she looked through her pattern, she realised that this was going to be a quick knit. Clem loved cuff down socks anyway, and the relaxed texture pattern with the contrasting cuffs, heels and toes meant this was going to be fun. *'Two pairs it is then', Clem called to her mum, who was now busy in the kitchen arranging breakfast for her brothers. 'I can't wait to see the new patterns you'll knit this term', her mum called back. Clementine had been so focused on this pattern that she'd forgotten there was seven more to come !
