Adult S (M, L) Finished measurements (unstretched): 7.5 (8, 9)” (stretches comfortably up to about 11 (12, 13)” circumference). Leg and Foot lengths vary depending on knitter's preference. Sample shown in Tanis Fiber Arts 8-ply Twist in *Hummingbird* colourway. **Why Top Down Socks?** Though I do knit a lot of toe up socks these days (see my Trusty Toe Up Socks pattern for the reasons why!) I am still partial to the fit of a top down sock. For me, nothing fits better than a heel gusset and though it is possible to work a gusset toe up, top down, with a heel gusset is my happy place.
