Pattern Details Construction: Cuff-down socks with a heel flap, gusset, and grafted toe. Sizes: Small (Medium) Large — 56 (64) 72 stitches. Designed to fit approximately 7.5 (8.5) 9.5 inches / 19 (21.5) 24.5 cm foot circumference. Yarn: Fingering-weight sock yarn in two contrasting colors. Main Color (MC): Approximately 65 g Contrast Color (CC): Approximately 30 g The sample was knit using Cascade Heritage Sock in Tangelo and Real Black. The size Large sample used approximately 54 g of MC and 24 g of CC. Needles: 2.25 mm (US 1) for the cuff, heel flap, foot, and toe. 2.5 mm (US 1.5) for the leg colorwork. Gauge: Stranded colorwork: 36 stitches × 40 rounds = 4 inches (10 cm). Stockinette: 36 stitches × 52 rounds = 4 inches (10 cm). Notions: Stitch markers and a tapestry needle. Skill Level Intermediate. This pattern is recommended for knitters who are comfortable knitting socks in the round, reading colorwork charts, working stranded colorwork, and constructing a traditional heel flap and gusset. What's Included The downloadable PDF includes written instructions for three sizes, individual full-circumference spider and web colorwork charts for each size, and a coordinating toe chart that works across all three sizes.
