Kimberley's Rose

This scrap busting flower pattern was designed to look like the White Rose of Yorkshire and at a diminutive finished size of 5cm/2" worn as a lapel brooch. As always I encourage you to do your own thing and make it any colour or size you desire! The pattern comes with round by round diagrams, a key is given. While it is written in UK terminology I have also included the USA equivalent terms. To save your printing ink the round by round images are found on the Blog post. As the stitches are made in front and back loops of previous rounds I would suggest that this is an intermediate to advanced pattern. But it's such a tiny thing so why not give it a go anyway! Materials used: Scheepjes Cotton 8 (4grams-14m in total per flower) Yorkshire; Golden Yellow 714, White 502, Green 517, Lancashire; Golden Yellow 714, Red 510, Green 517, Tudor; Golden Yellow 714, White 502, Green 517, Red 510, A small scrap of felt and a 2cm/ 3/4" Brooch pin.
