Alaskan Waffle Shawl

As she lives in Alaska, i have > named it in honour of her.* The Alaskan Waffle Shawl is an extended wing triangle and is so squishy and soft, perfect for wrapping yourself up on those cold days. **About the Pattern** The pattern is written in US terms, but UK terms listed in stitches used. This shawl can be made in any weight yarn, but as the waffle stitch is a "yarn eater" i would suggest a minimum of 600 - 1000m for any weight yarn if making a full size shawl. Using a hook 1- 2 sizes bigger than recommended for the yarn will result is a nice drape in the finished shawl. The shawl is reversible, therefore it does not matter which way you wear your shawl. Pictures have been added to the pattern for visual aid. Video tutorial can be found [Here][1] **Size options** This pattern can be customised to make a cowl or shawl. As i live in a warm climate in Australia i don't have a need for a warm shawl, but for the purpose of this pattern i am currently making one using 2 x Caron Big cakes - Honey glazed with a 6.5mm hook.
