My last name is Vogelsang. This is why a singing bird is on top of my company sign. I absolutly love yokes. Some time ago I had the idea to this sweater. I dread the effort and feared that big pattern repeat. While knitting I realised this is nabocklish! After a few rounds the birds heads arise in the fabric. This is the moment from where on I have to force myself to stop knitting and take a break. (Almost) Every size has a different number of birds in its yoke. The finished sweater comes in this sizes: XS, (S, M, L, XL, 2X, 3X) Bust circumfence: 89cm/35in (95cm/38in, 106cm/42in, 115cm/45in, 126cm/49in, 136cm/53in, 147cm/58in) Upper arm circumfence: 33cm/13in (34cm/13in, 35cm/14in, 38cm/15in, 41cm/16in, 43cm/17in, 45cm/18in) I want to thank the testknitters: Marlis, Sandra, Anette, Maren, Petra, Kerstin, Victoria, Beatricè, Britta and Marion! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mein Nachname ist Vogelsang. Darum prangt in meinem Logo ein singender Vogel. Schon einige Zeit plante ich diesen Pullover zu entwerfen. Lange habe ich den Aufwand gescheut, ich fürchtete den langen Musterrapport der Passe. Jetzt habe ich beim Stricken gemerkt, dass das halb so wild ist. Nach ein paar Reihen tauchen nämlich die Köpfe der Vögel im Gestrick auf und ab da ist (jedenfalls bei mir) der Moment erreicht, wo man sich zwingen muss auch mal eine Pause einzulegen. Die Passe mit den Vögeln ist für die verschiedenen Größen individuell angepasst. Jede Größe hat also ein etwas anderes Motiv.
