Pumehana Child Hat

“Pumehana“ means warm / warm-hearted in Hawaiian. Large adult size pattern is [here][1]. Matching cowl pattern is [here][2]. I designed this beanie specifically to be a quick & super cozy pattern crafters could crochet for charity (or friends / family / yourself - anyone in need of some warmth!) with the soft and hypo-allergenic Bernat Blanket yarn. But it can be made with any similar weight yarn you prefer... It works up *very* fast. Sales of this pattern will help me offset supplies and postage costs for the charity items I make & send from Hawaii. Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota is the main place I send these hats - they’re by far [the poorest place in the entire US][3], and can really use any warm items we make and send to the many organizations on the Reservation.
