The Shallow

The Shallow sock pattern takes sock knitting just beyond vanilla with a fun and easy to follow textured pattern using knit and purl stitches. This is one that I think will look great with any type of yarn you want to use - think speckled, variegated, stripes. The pattern is written and charted, so you can chose which one you prefer to follow. **Supplies List** **Yarn:** 100 grams/400 yards of fingering weight yarn. Sample knit in: Lofty Loops Yarns in the Sally colorway on the Lofty Sock fingering base (80% Superwash Merino/20% Nylon) 100 grams/400 yards. **Needles:** US 1/2.25mm – Your choice: DPNs, Magic Loop using a 32” cable, 9” Circular. Pattern is not written for a specific way of working in the round. **Notions:** Stitch marker Tapestry needle for weaving in ends **Gauge:** Approx 8-9 sts per inch in stockinette.
