Lollipop Star

Lollipop Star is my first design. It's a fun, funky design that reminds me of a swirly lollipop centre, within a 3D star. It is really fun to make and I hope you find this too. It is an intermediate pattern The picture version has many helpful images and explanations. Less than 1 skein of each colour of paintbox aran yarn required. I used 5 colours in my examples. • US terms used throughout • 12 inch square with aran weight yarn and a 5mm crochet hook. Using the recommended size hook for whichever yarn you choose will create a different sized square. I crochet quite tightly, so use a 5.5mm hook for my squares, then block out to size Errata: 04-04-19 - new downloads will find the following corrections: Round10: Join new colour with a standing sc in any sc after a ch2 sp Round 17: sc in 1st st of any side, fptr around 1st round 15 st (at corner) sk st behind... at end of row: do not skip final st, instead make sc here.
