Lily Lemon Peel Scarf A long wrap around scarf in a lovely textured ‘lemon peel’ stitch, that uses just single and double crochet and works up more quickly than you think! Materials <400g of an Aran weight yarn (Recommend WI Soft & Smooth) 6.5mm hook Scissors and needle for finishing Concentration level – The stitches are simple, but a mistake in the order can throw off the rest of the stitches so a little concentration is needed until you’re in the rhythm. Stitches used (US): • Single Crochet - SC (pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through both loops on the hook) • Double Crochet – DC (yarn over, pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through two loops on hook, yarn over and pull through remaining two loops on hook) Other notes and tips: • Stitch count is in brackets at the end of each round Gauge 10 rows of 10 stitches (5 SC and 5 DC) = approx. 3 x 3 inches
