Playing Four Square

How can you resist a cake of yarn that looks like a cupcake with that pompom on top? I certainly couldn't, but I just didn't want to make another hat. If you take four of them and attach the pompoms to each corner, you end up with an adorable baby blanket. This blanket is worked modularly, and was designed to use as much of each yarn cake as possible.
