Dixie Daydream

This floral afghan block is sweet as a southern belle. The rich texture in both the petals and the border adds lots of interest and opportunity for color play. It will look great in a sampler afghan or as a repeated motif. Graded as an intermediate pattern, you'll want a good grasp of [pattern reading][2] and to be comfortable with using lots of post stitches. The block comes in two sizes: without the border, 9inch(Aran)/7.5inch(DK); with the border, 12 inch(Aran)/10 inch(DK). The last four rounds (the border) can be used independently of square pattern for other projects. Just read the hint before round 10 on how to use it elsewhere. Yes!
