Local Yarn Shawl

The Local Yarn Shawl was FREE on Local Yarn Store Day, to everyone who goes to a participating Local Yarn Store and purchases yarn to make it. Participating LYS's [can be found here][2]. It doesn't matter what yarn you buy for this shawl; many LYS's are featuring special yarns or you can mix brands, or make a one skein version. When purchasing yarn, you will receive a coupon code from your LYS which you may use at home to redeem (link in first paragraph.) Please head out and give these brick and mortar small businesses some love! **Details** The Local Yarn Shawl is a boomerang shaped shawl, consisting of simple lace, textured, eyelet and mesh stitches. The pattern is written for two sizes: Small and Large. The small shawl only consists of one color but in a gradient if desired (560 yards); while the large shawl uses two contrasting or “blendy” colors (350 yards each.)
