When the squares are joined a circle will appear. **Yarn and hook**: Any yarn can be used and the hook size will vary according to the yarn chosen and your tension. **Size**: With Scheepjes Stonewashed and a 4mm hook the square will be approx 11X11cm. With Scheepjes Catona and a 3 mm hook the square will be approx 9x9cm. **Extra**: This pattern also includes the extended version of the Northern Diamond Square (formerly the *Northern Diamond Square II*).
