Yarn Dragon Egg Bag or Reticule

This pattern is for a "dragon egg" or "pinecone" pouch measuring approximately 7" x 7" when made with worsted weight yarn and a size G hook. It is made using a crocodile stitch over a solid background that keeps dice or other small items from falling out. This stitch requires a lot of yarn, especially with the solid background. Plan on using an entire 6 oz. skein of yarn. I've posted a separate pattern for making a similar bag using thread, or a larger bag using yarn.
