Amaya Mosaic Shawl

Amaya crochet shawl uses Mosaic Crochet - an amazing technique which might look tricky but is not difficult at all. Only simple stitches are used here but the pattern requires lots of attention and concentration. [Please, read more about this design HERE][1]. **Size:** The size of the finished shawl depends on the yarn and hook you use. My shawl is approx. 2m/79in wide across and 90cm/35.5in high. **Pattern includes:** ~ step by step full written instructions in ENGLISH using standard crochet abbreviations and US terms (stitch guide is given in the pattern), ~ charts which can be followed from your phone or printed out (a larger version is included), and ~ heavy photo-tutorial illustrating every mosaic row. All pictures are placed in the end of the pattern, so no need to print them out. And resolution is good enough to be zoomed in. **Level**: Intermediate, but advanced, or “adventurous”, beginners can also try it out. It’s always nice to learn something new. **Materials:** - Yarn in 2 colors. I used Colour Crafter by Scheepejs (DK) and River Washed/Stone Washed by Scheepjes (DK/Sport) Scheepjes Stone Washed: 831 x 5 skeins Scheepjes River Washed: 952 x 7 skeins Alternative yarn: Scheepjes “Colour Crafter” Yarn A x 3 skeins Yarn B x 2 skeins - Crochet hook 4.5mm (G) or the size that will give an acceptable gauge. - Scissors and Tapestry needle to weave the ends in.
