Knitting starts from a Garter Tab Cast On, followed by a few relaxing rows in Stockinette stitch. The following Lacy Lattice Pattern, some bobbles, the 3x1 Rib and the Picot Bind Off make this a fun and entertaining knit… a versatile companion for colder days. Yarn 5 skeins Nature's Luxury Alpacas Bliss (109 yds/100 m per 100 g); shown in color [Mustard Pepper][4] Needles US 10½ (6.5 mm) circular needle, 40” (100 cm) long or size needed to get gauge. Gauge 11 sts x 19 rows = 4 x 4” (10 x 10 cm) in Stockinette stitch on US 10½ (6.5 mm) needles after blocking. 11 sts x 20 rows = 4 x 4” (10 x 10 cm) in Lacy Lattice Pattern on US 10½ (6.5 mm) needles after blocking. Gauge is not crucial for this project, but will affect yardage and final size when different. Size Approximately 29" (74 cm) deep along center, 75" (190 cm) wingspan from tip to tip.
