This hat is cast on at the brim. Decreases are made towards the top and the final stitches are cinched together with remaining yarn. 2. Place a marker to help you recognize the beginning of a new row. Slip the marker as you come to it. 3. Knit more rows of the main body to make the hat slouchier! 4. Knitting the size small gave me plenty of yarn to make a pom. Please note that knitting larger sizes may require additional yarn for the pom pom. 5.
