Although it looks like cables, there is not one cable involved in the textured stitch pattern. There are 2 versions of this shawl: texture & garter and texture only. The texture is quite addictive and you won't be the only one feeling a little sad when binding off. Garter stitch (17 stitches x 36 rows), blocked = 4” x 4” (10 x 10 cm). Gauge is not crucial at all but will affect final size and yardage.
