Owl (50% Wool, 50% Alpaca; 120 yards / 110m, 50g) Sample is shown in Tawny or approxiamtely 6 skeins of Sherwood Yarns BFL and Masham worsted - images of the sample in color Limestone can be found [here][2] **Needles** A US 8 (5 mm) 32" / 80 cm (or longer) circular needle Or, needle required to obtain gauge **Gauge (after blocking)** 15 stitches & 29 rows = 4" / 10 cm in Garter Stitch with US 8 (5 mm) needle **Size** Approximately 52" / 132 cm wide at right edge, 55" / 141 cm along top edge **Tools** Stitch marker (1), cable needle, tapestry needle, blocking tools. **Skill Level** 2 / 5 **Note** Knitting starts at the tip of the left edge and ends on the full side of the right edge. Increases are worked at the end of every other row to achieve an asymmetrical triangular shape. A two stitch I-Cord is worked at the edge for a clean finish. The body of the shawl consists of a combination of Garter Stitch and two wide pattern bands.
