SIZE Approx. 69” across top edge, 31½” from center back neck to bottom point MATERIALS Manos del Uruguay FINO (70% extrafine merino, 30% silk; approx. 100g/490 yds), 1 sk MC plus 1 Mini-skein Set. Shown in 438 Poison (MC) with set #5 Eleanor (413 Rosewater [CC1], 421 Havisham [CC2], 411 Pocketwatch [CC3], 420 Boudoir [CC4], 410 Garnet Brooch [CC5]). US 6/4mm ndls, 29” or longer, or size to obtain gauge 2 ring markers GAUGE 17 sts and 32 rows = 4” over Stripe Pattern, blocked (see Notes) NOTES - 17 sts and 32 rows = 4” is a blocked gauge. Before blocking, my gauge was 24 sts and 40 rows = 4”. Because of the silk content, Fino relaxes quite a lot in blocking. If your gauge is too big before blocking, you may run out of yarn. - Shawl is worked in 2-row stripes.  There’s no need to cut yarn at every color change; carry color not in use up side of work, making sure not to pull it too tight.
